RENE SYLER: All this week VH1 airs their new series I Love The 90s and here at The Early Show we love the 90s too. Today's topic is music of the 90s and who better to help us out with that? One of the decade's most successful trios: Zac, Isaac, and Taylor, collectively known as Hanson. The brothers are in the middle of a new tour and have just released their third CD Underneath. Good morning guys.

ZAC: Good morning.

ISAAC: Good morning.

RENE: And we should say off the top, Underneath is among the most successful self-released CDs ever!

ISAAC: Yeah, it is.

ZAC: Yeah, it's been amazing, we've been so lucky. We released this on our own label, a label we made to release this album and music and it's just been amazing the response from the fans and just people all around the country.

RENE: The label is called 3CG. Alright, what's that about Isaac?

ISAAC: Well, it's basically… the three is obviously representative of the three guys who run the company but… 3 Car Garage is the title…

TAYLOR: It kind of takes it back to garage bands and rock & roll, it stands for 3 Car Garage. That's what we are, that's where we started also I think we just feel like it's kind of a throw back to, you know, if you can't make it in a garage then you can't make it anywhere. It's got to start at the ground floor.

RENE: You can't make it anywhere! Taylor, what's the difference now making music when you guys were very young to now, what's the difference?

TAYLOR: Well, I think now we're a lot more tired than we were then. And maybe that's just this morning, no. We've seen a lot more; we've traveled a lot more, and also the experience. We've been a band for 12 years and I think the appreciation for it is better, it's all put in perspective. You go, "wow, this is a really great job!"

RENE: Well thank you for helping us out, we have all of our eagle eye contestants over there. Are you guys ready to play I Love The 90s?

TAYLOR: Oh you guys, I tell ya…

RENE: Taylor, let's start with you. Question #1.

TAYLOR: Okay, before her eight octave voice landed her in the Guinness Book of World Records, this butterfly was sweeping floors in the beauty salon.

JULIE CHEN: Can you say it again? Before who?

TAYLOR: Her eight octave voice.

RENE: Hannah.

HANNAH: Celine Dion?

RENE: No, that is incorrect. Harry?

HARRY: Mini Rupperton?

RENE: That is incorrect.

ISAAC: Close!

RENE: We have no winner on that, we have no winner on that, show the answer please. It is butterfly-hello! Mariah Carey.

TAYLOR: I read that pretty fast guys, I'm sorry.

RENE: Alright, Isaac.

ISAAC: Listen carefully, listen carefully. Here we go. Multiple choice. This question is, okay, what musician founded Lilith Fair, an all female concert tour? Was it A) Sarah McLachlan, B) Tori Amos, C) Alanis Morissette?

RENE: Harry.

HARRY: Alanis Morissette.

RENE: I'm sorry, that's wrong. Julie.

JULIE: A) Sarah McLachlan.

ZAC: We have a winner!

RENE: Alright Zac, your turn.

ZAC: How old was I when our song "MMMBop" hit the charts? In 1997.

RENE: Hannah.

HANNAH: 13?

ZAC: Ah, wrong. Younger.

RENE: Harry.

HARRY: 8.

RENE: Not that young. Okay, no one wins that one. He was 11, 11 years old. Alright, Taylor, back to you.

TAYLOR: Also the youngest to write a #1 song.

RENE: Really? Hey! [applause]

TAYLOR: Name all 5 Spice Girls nicknames.

RENE: Okay, here we go. Julie Chen.

JULIE: There's Scary, there's Posh, there's Sporty, there's Ginger, and there is… Sporty, Scary….

ZAC: Close. It's the little one!

JULIE: Scary, Sporty, Posh, Ginger, and…

RENE: Okay, we're going to have to take another contestant! Another guess, you have to name all 5!

HARRY: I don't know…

TAYLOR: You know what, you should be glad you don't know.

RENE: Baby.

JULIE: Oh, Baby!

ZAC: The little one! I said little!

RENE: Isaac.

ISAAC: Alright, #5 is… here is the question. In 1997 the study of whose poetry became a course at the University of California Berkley? Was it A) Enya…

RENE: Okay, Hannah.

HANNAH: Tupac.

RENE: That is correct. Tupac Shakur, okay, very good.
