RADIO TRANSCRIPTS Star 94
Atlanta, GA
07 June 2000STEVE: Welcome to Atlanta, you got welcomed by our traffic!
TAYLOR: Yes, we did.
VIKKI: Isn't it fun?
TAYLOR: Traffic is great; it's wonderful.
ZAC: Such a wonderful, warm welcome.
TAYLOR: How do you guys do this every morning? You get up, you do this morning show...
VIKKI: Coffee, coffee, and more coffee.
TAYLOR: What time do you guys have to get up?
VIKKI: 3.
ISAAC: Three in the morning...
TAYLOR: See, that's just not right. Isn’t that wrong?
VIKKI: Yes, it is.
TAYLOR: That someone should have to get up...
ISAAC: Wake up when it's actually night time...
STEVE: Now what's your --
ZAC: I normally stay up till 3 o'clock.
STEVE: Do ya? I was gonna say, what's your curfew guys?
TAYLOR: There's not really a curfew...
ISAAC: We don't really have a curfew, but generally you try to get to bed before midnight.
TAYLOR: Something - somewhere --
ISAAC: Somewhere in there.
VIKKI: Do you drink a lot of tea? For the throats?
ISAAC: No, not really.
VIKKI: You stay away from the air conditioning? A lot of artists say that they don't like to sit in air conditioning, it's bad for their throats.
TAYLOR: Well if you sit in a - like if you're in a freezing cold room and you wake up the next morning, that's bad.
ISAAC: Well, with regard to the air conditioning, air conditioning does actually dry the air out, so that's what they're talking about. Generally if you have to, you have a humidifier or something...
TAYLOR: So you don't get -- Ike's gonna get technical on you (laughs)
ISAAC: Air conditioning is everywhere, what are you talking about?! You’d be like, "Oh my gosh, everybody in the radio station, turn OFF the air conditioning. We cannot come in here, it's bad for our vocal chords..."
ZAC: I was dying for air conditioning last night.
VIKKI: You were dying for it last night?
ZAC: Yeah, yeah, I was loving the air conditioning.
ISAAC: He NEEDED the air conditioning, man, he needed his air con fix.
ZAC: Giiive me the air con baby, yeaah.
STEVE: That's Zac!
ISAAC: He's just a social air conditioner, okay?
ZAC: You can stop at any time!
STEVE: So guys, is it pretty hot in Tulsa right now?
TAYLOR: We haven't been to Tulsa, but I’m sure it's hot. It usually starts to get pretty hot...
ISAAC: Well, I would have thought - it's gonna be hot in Atlanta, but it's you know, 53º.
STEVE: A couple days ago we were in the 90s, and now it's - you hit us on a cool day here.
VIKKI: And a lot of kids your age are celebrating summer, talking about hot. But you're all home schooled, right?
TAYLOR: Yeah.
ISAAC: Yeah.
VIKKI: So you have school year round at home?
STEVE: But wait a minute --
TAYLOR: Well... we basically - it's the same...
STEVE: You're hardly home, so are you guys flunking?
TAYLOR: It's road school.
ISAAC: It's road school.
TAYLOR: On the traveling school...
ISAAC: It's not home school, it's road school.
STEVE: Yeah, don't you have a lot of absences?
ISAAC: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
TAYLOR: We wouldn't exactly --
ISAAC: "Dear teacher: we will be gone for three months. Please excuse --" you know?
TAYLOR: Like, please send my tests to my friend, you know?
STEVE: Who pretty much is the instructor in your homeschooling? Is it your mom?
TAYLOR: Well, it's both of our parents and we do have, you know, a couple friends that tutor us in different specific subjects, but it's really more both of our parents.
STEVE: So when friends are walking up the driveway... "Here comes our prom!"?
TAYLOR: Yeah... well... sort of. Not exactly.
ISAAC: Not exactly.
TAYLOR: Not exactly, no.
ZAC: It's not that stupid.
ISAAC: Not even close.
STEVE: Ahh, Zac, you've grown up just a bit. Zac is actually almost the tallest of you three. When you guys were here for our little private show a couple years ago, Isaac, I remember you --
ZAC: No, it just comes down to I have the best posture of the three of us...
VIKKI: Ahh...
ZAC: They're just slouching, and I’m just standing up straight.
STEVE: That's the drummer in you, huh?
ISAAC: We're all within an inch of each other. I think Zac is an inch shorter than me. Um, I’m an inch shorter than Tay. So it's kind of --
STEVE: So Taylor’s the tallest, huh?
ISAAC: Yeah, Taylor is the tallest.
TAYLOR: Somehow that happened, but of course that will change; any moment that could change. So, you know.
ISAAC: Yeah.
VIKKI: Are your parents really tall?
TAYLOR: Umm... not particularly. I mean, our dad…
STEVE: Your dad is like... 6 --
ISAAC: 6'1", 6'2", something like that.
TAYLOR: But our mom is very --
ISAAC: Our mom is like, 5'2".
TAYLOR: Yeah, so she's...
VIKKI: Well, you didn't take off your dad, obviously!
ISAAC: Yeah.
STEVE: So, remind us again - how many in the family? Cos I think the last time you were here, your mom was about to have a new baby.
TAYLOR: Yep, seven kids in the family. There’s - we have four younger siblings. So, it's a big clan of people.
ISAAC: Actually, the last time we were here in Atlanta Zoë was already what... a couple... she was probably four months old.
TAYLOR: She was barely...
ISAAC: She was on tour with us.
STEVE: Mmm hmm.
ISAAC: So.
VIKKI: Is she here now?
ISAAC: No, she's not right now.
VIKKI: Just the three of you?
ISAAC: Not right now...
TAYLOR: She's at home right now.
ISAAC: Yeah.
TAYLOR: Hooome alooone.
STEVE: Any of the others musically inclined? You think there's a chance for a fourth to come?
ISAAC: No, no, no, no, no, no fourth member.
STEVE: We're not adding the Andy Gibb to the group here?
ISAAC: No.
VIKKI: Steve was hoping to join, actually.
TAYLOR: Well, seeing how none of us are named Gibb, that would be hard, wouldn't it? Well, we talk about the youngest - the two year old, Zoë, she's got a lot of rhythm. You turn on music and she goes into it, but there's no plan on having a fourth member. So.
VIKKI: Well, you've gotta be excited about the new CD...
TAYLOR: Absolutely, yeah.
VIKKI: Rolling Stone and everybody is just raving about it.
TAYLOR: Yeah, it's been really, really positive, yeah, just talking about reviews and things; people talking about the album has been hugely positive, so yeah.
ISAAC: Yeah, exciting.
TAYLOR: It's been very, very cool.
VIKKI: And the tour?
TAYLOR: And the tour, yeah, roughly we've been talking about starting actually playing shows in July.
ISAAC: Late July.
TAYLOR: But we've been I guess you could say, touring as most people think of it, but we've really just promoting...
ISAAC: We really haven't been playing that many shows. We played, you know, a couple half hour to 45 minute sets you know, here and there, but not, not real shows. You know, normally it's about an hour and a half to two hours is a real show.
TAYLOR: But just been all over the world basically promoting the new record. We’ve been in Japan, Australia, Argentina, and Brazil. Just all around the world.
VIKKI: Keeping up with the road school.
TAYLOR: Yup, keeping up with the road school along the way.
STEVE: Well, we know you guys are set to come to Lakewood sometime, I don't know if the actual date has been set yet but that's where you'll be sometime during the summer here in the Atlanta area. So...
TAYLOR: Yeah, we're looking forward to it.
ISAAC: We're looking forward -- I mean, we will be, we'll definitely be in Atlanta. As to exactly where we are gonna be, I really honestly don't know.
TAYLOR: So, basically we're completely misleading you, but... (laughs) but we are gonna come, so...
ISAAC: We are definitely coming to Atlanta, but as to whereas we're playing, I don't know.
STEVE: Well, the fandom is strong. We have emails that came in, people are listening to us around the world right now and around the country, actually.
ZAC: HELLOOO WORLD!
STEVE: There it is, Zac.
ZAC: HELLOOO COUNTRY!
STEVE: Yep. And with punching into our website you can listen, you know, on the web so we've got a bunch of emails from people all over Switzerland, London, and all over the great land of ours.
TAYLOR: Awesome. You guys are just drawing them in, aren't you?
STEVE: We are, we're doing okay.
VIKKI: And of all the places you've traveled, where's your favorite so far? Do you have a favorite place?
ISAAC: Atlanta.
TAYLOR: Atlanta.
VIKKI: Aww.
STEVE: Politically correct Hanson!!
TAYLOR: The thing is --
ISAAC: Actually, Atlanta -- ahh no, no, no, never mind. (laughs)
TAYLOR: It's always nice to go see places. I mean you could say, you know, Italy is great or you could say Australia is cool because you know, all so cool places. Or you know, it's fun to go see Spain, but I think it's always nice to come home. I mean, it's always nice to be back you know, where you're comfortable, back home. And it's always very cool to see, to get to see places, but it is nice to see your friends, be home, just be somewhere where you're comfortable. So...
STEVE: Alright, the Hanson brothers with us. It’s 8:29 from Star 94. They’re in the studio, some lucky Star 94 listeners that called in the last couple of days are gonna be treated to a little meet & greet and we've got some breakfast and they're gonna perform a little bit. And ah, Vikki had a magazine over there... Teen People --
VIKKI: I showed it to them. With David Bowie.
STEVE: Yeah.
VIKKI: He's your buddy, huh?
TAYLOR: Well, not ex -- well, close to a buddy. We met him one time.
STEVE: Well, talk about each one of you --
ISAAC: -- for twenty minutes...
STEVE: Well, talk about each one of you - who have you met, each one of you, that you really have thought was very cool?
TAYLOR: Hhmm... who've we met?
ISAAC: Oh, I would say Aerosmith would be pretty high on my list.
STEVE: For Isaac, okay. Taylor?
TAYLOR: Umm, probably... ahh, Lenny, Lenny Kravitz or Billy Joel, probably one of those.
STEVE: Okay, Zac?
ZAC: I mean, it was cool to meet David Bowie, but I think I’d have to go with umm... George Lucas.
TAYLOR: Yes.
VIKKI: When did you meet him?!
ZAC: Star Wars. Umm... we met him right before The Phantom Menace came out. We got to see it at a screening for MTV and we did it out at Lucas Ranch.
VIKKI: Wow.
TAYLOR: So, we got to go to the ranch where he has his whole production studio...
STEVE: Right...
TAYLOR: In San Francisco, outside San Francisco, and so we were invited and his daughter walked up and she goes - and brings us over there and she goes, "Dad--" says to George Lucas, "This is Hanson." And he goes, "Oh, I know who they are." And then we for a second said...
ZAC: God! Star Wars?!
TAYLOR: We grew up watching Star Warsour entire lives. He knows who we are. You know, that's, that's like...
ISAAC: I have reached... all... coolness! I don't know what to say. (laughs)
TAYLOR: We didn't have to do anything else at that point.
STEVE: Now, were you there at that time when they had Leo DiCaprio and a bunch of other people over there?
TAYLOR: That was a different -- there was a different screening.
STEVE: There were a bunch of different screenings?
TAYLOR:Yeah, there --
ISAAC: Yeah, that was the one that was actually at Lucas Ranch. It was actually an MTV hosted event.
TAYLOR: But the point is, we got to meet George Lucas.
ISAAC: Mainly musicians, people like Usher, Third Eye Blind was there and... tons of people.
TAYLOR: Seth Green was there.
ISAAC: Seth Green was there, yeah.
VIKKI: So, if you love Star Wars, tell me honestly guys - what did you think of Jar Jar Binks? Zac? Come on...
ZAC: Um, okay. Look. Everybody. The first movies had the ewoks, okay? They were screwed up, you know. But the generation after us are gonna love them, I already know. My little brother, he loves him. Whenever I bash Jar Jar Binks, he goes, "Stop bashing, he's my favorite one!!" so, you know. I think --
TAYLOR: There's a philosophy behind it - a friend of ours said, you know, all of us, all the third year old guys who are totally freaks on Star Wars...
ISAAC: All the older Star Warsfans...
TAYLOR: Are all bashing the new Star Wars. They're like, "Oh Jar Jar Binks is stupid," but that's because they grew up with -- and when they were kids that's when they were --
ISAAC: They had little fluffy teddy bears...
TAYLOR: They had ewoks, all the other animals.
ISAAC: You know, but I think that also part of the annoyance factor with Jar Jar is the fact that he actually speaks - supposed you know, kind of speaks English, right?
STEVE: Yeah.
ISAAC: You can't --
STEVE: You have to see the movie eight times before you figure out what he's saying.
TAYLOR: What are you saying?
ISAAC: But you know, I think that's part of the annoyance factor because most of the other, you know, species don't speak.
TAYLOR:Iit was always in another language so you didn't have to be annoyed by it.
ALL: (start making star wars voices)
ISAAC: Okay and stuff like that.
STEVE: Very good, Star Warssound effects from the boys. It’s 8:32, Hanson with us on Star 94.
commercial
STEVE: ...great concert tickets, which include the Hanson show, once we get the date and time set that these guys will come back to visit Atlanta for all their fans that are here this morning and they're on the Steve & Vikki Show this morning.
TAYLOR: Well, hello.
VIKKI: And speaking of cars, since we're giving away a convertible, what are you driving?
TAYLOR: What cars?
ISAAC: Uhh, I actually have to say it's not a convertible but I can't really say. It’s actually a... a Pinto.
VIKKI: It is not.
STEVE: It is not guys!
ISAAC: It's a Pinto.
TAYLOR: [laughs]
ISAAC: Super power!
ZAC: He's driving a Dodge mini-van, okay!
ISAAC: That's what it is. (an awkward silence)
VIKKI: You're not gonna tell?
TAYLOR: What's up with the cars?
ISAAC: I can't tell.
TAYLOR: He doesn't talk about the car cos then people know what the car is and then they're like, "Oh, there's the car, there's the car!"
VIKKI: Ooh! Okay.
ISAAC: It's, I mean, it's a cool car, but it's nothing like, it's nothing, ya know, fancy.
TAYLOR: It's not like a, ya know, it's like a Hum V. Actually, maybe it should be. A bright red Hum V.
ISAAC: Maybe it should've rested on Hum V.
TAYLOR: Yeah.
STEVE: Zac, do you have a car, yet, waiting in the garage?
ZAC: Um, well, I’m 14 so I think I’d be kinda...
TAYLOR: A little ahead of the game there!
ZAC: Stupid to have a car right now, yeah! (everyone laughs)
STEVE: No, no I said waiting in the garage. A lot of people, yuh know...
ZAC: Yeah…
STEVE: Unfortunately buy their kids cars and let em sit in the garage until they're able to drive, so.
ISAAC: Yeah, the kids just stare at it "Daaang... I gotta wait another two years. This is great. Thanks a lot dad!"
TAYLOR: I think Zac's gonna be the best driver of us all, actually.
ZAC: Yeah, they said I’m gonna be the best driver - of course...
STEVE: Why, are you cautious?
ZAC: I don't know...
TAYLOR: I just think he's a good driver. We have motorcycles and dirt bikes and he's just good at driving those.
ZAC: They say I’m the best - I’m just the one who's been through the most. Been in the most wrecks, hit the most trees...
ISAAC: Actually, most of the time he's the most cautious. It’s just that one time that he hit a rock and flew 20 feet through the air, did a flip - the motorcycle did a flip. Ohh, it was bad.
TAYLOR: Yes.
STEVE: So, have any of you ever had to make a trip to the emergency room there in Tulsa?
ISAAC: No, no.
ZAC: We're not that extreme.
TAYLOR: We're not really doing - just trail stuff, it's just like riding through trails, kind of like through trees and stuff like that, not jumping 30 feet in the air.
ISAAC: However, Tay has hit a tree a couple of times.
TAYLOR: I have hit a tree.
ISAAC: At 15mph...
TAYLOR: That's the embarrassing things that you usually don't talk about, but of course now we have, so there you go. (laughs)
VIKKI: Can we talk about girlfriends? Cos of course, I gotta ask. The fans would be mad at me.
ZAC: NOOOO...
TAYLOR: We do not have girlfriends, no. no.
VIKKI: Because you don't have time? Or it's another thing like the car, you can't talk about it because they'll be hounded?
ZAC: Yeeeah man (Austin Powers accent)
ISAAC: We can't talk about that, baby (Austin Powers accent)
TAYLOR: It's not that you don't meet people and date them, but it's just not a steady thing.
ISAAC: It's kind of like, you know, you meet a lot of different people and it's just a matter of having a long term relationship with somebody at this point is hard. Yeah, so...
STEVE: Cos you're hardly ever home you say.
ISAAC: Yeah.
STEVE: Zac, talk about your friends there. I mean, how do your friends - can you guys have normal friends in Tulsa?
TAYLOR: Most of our friends are fairly odd!
ZAC: Yeah, our friends are slightly... psychos. Umm, no, we have normal friends, about as normal as it gets. Umm yeah, most of our friends we've known for a long time.
TAYLOR: Actually, a lot of our friends --
ISAAC: Actually, how could you have NOT normal friends? I don't understand. What would be the definition of "not normal?"
VIKKI: Just want to be your friend because you're Hanson...
STEVE: Yeah.
ZAC: Yeah, no. most of our good friends we've known for a long time and they just go, you know, "You guys have been doing this for a long time, you guys..."
TAYLOR: They're kind of used to it.
ZAC: "...I don't really like your music anyway!"
TAYLOR: I mean, our good friends are just kind of you know, into it and they're your good friends and you know, a couple of times we've brought them on tour with us or you know, they've come out to LA or New York or something like that, so they've gotten to kind of experience it. They don't really care. They’re like, "Ahh, you're just those guys that are our friends." So, it's no big deal.
STEVE: Now, we remember reading or hearing about a Hanson movie that was in the works…
TAYLOR: Yeah, there was a lot of talk about that.
ISAAC: Not gonna happen, no...
TAYLOR: There's definitely not a movie in the works. What we joke about is if we were actors, every movie we did would turn into a comedy because we'd be so bad.
STEVE: I can't imagine seven of you in one house. I’ve got two boys and that drives me crazy a little bit. Are you guys always this wild?
TAYLOR: Dude, we're just putting on for you man.
STEVE: Are you? Okay...
TAYLOR: That's all...
STEVE: Your dad was so calm when I met him and he seemed like nothing bugs him. So, you guys... he must have a calm household.
ZAC: Like you said, he has seven kids.
ISAAC: It's pretty loud, you know...
VIKKI: Do you get grounded a lot?
ISAAC: No...
ISAAC: We've never been grounded in our life.
VIKKI: Never? Oh come on!
STEVE: Hey Zac, there wasn't a time out chair for you?
ZAC: No...
ISAAC: Our parents didn't ground us.
ZAC: Never been grounded, no.
ISAAC: No, never been grounded.
TAYLOR: Yeah, the grounding thing has never really happened, I don't know...
ISAAC: It doesn't mean we weren't punished, it just means we weren't grounded.
STEVE: Okay, so what was the punishment?
VIKKI: Yeah?
TAYLOR: I don't know, thrown out a window. You know... It's like, "Son!! You do that one more time, you're going out the window!!" "But dad...?"
ZAC: Ahhhhhhhrrrgggghhhh!
STEVE: Were there whoopin's?
TAYLOR: A few harsh punishments and then you remember. Once he kicks you out of a window a couple times, it kind of does the trick.
ISAAC: Nothing like a good clean spankin!
ZAC: After the 15-seater van hits you a couple times, you know...
TAYLOR: This is getting violent, ooooooh.
ZAC: You know, the windows, and then there's 15-seater vans...
TAYLOR: There are little children listening to this!
ZAC: (makes chainsaw noises)
ISAAC: "Now don't ever do that again son!" "Okay!"
VIKKI: What other sound effects do you do, Zac?
TAYLOR:Wwhat other sound effects...
ZAC: Umm... okay. Here is Zac um, butchering a cow!
TAYLOR: Ooh no, no, no, no, no...
ZAC: "Betsy... come over here!"
TAYLOR: guys, don't...
ZAC: (makes cow butchering noises and 'mooos' :D)
TAYLOR: Okay guys, we can...
ISAAC: Looks like a good ole t-bone, doesn't it?!
STEVE: So Zac, you still on the Ritalin, I see!
ZAC: No, actually I’m off!
TAYLOR: He was, borrowing it from you guys, you guys sent him some specially.
VIKKI: Zac, PETA is on line two! (laughs)
ZAC: PETA, are you there?!
STEVE: Zac - new drums? Did you get new drums in the last couple years?
ZAC: No, not any new drums...
STEVE: Still the same set?
ZAC: Still the same green set.
TAYLOR: He plays, you play - he plays a ton of different drum sets. I think a lot of times when you're doing different stuff you get a lot of different drum sets all over the place... renting different drum sets. Zac plays a lot of DW stuff. I mean, you guys wouldn't necessarily know about all the drum sets, but DW's are great drums.
ZAC: DW's - amazing drums. Basically what we used on all the albums.
TAYLOR: What we record with, yeah.
STEVE: Have any of you taken up another instruments? Cos Taylor, I know you like keyboards...
TAYLOR: Yeah.
STEVE: You play guitar also?
TAYLOR: Yeah, I mess around on guitar and Zac and I both play drums. but I think we all kind of dabble in all three instruments, it's just - Ike, Isaac has always played piano.
ISAAC: I’ve always played piano. I mean, we're obviously much better at our respective instruments, but you know.
TAYLOR: Everybody plays a little...
ISAAC: Everybody plays a little bit of everything, kind of for songwriting purposes and things like that.
TAYLOR: Ike messes around of course, he's a guitarist so then he can --
ISAAC: I’m a frustrated drummer, too! You know, I’m sitting there going, "I gotta play" and everybody's kinda like going...
TAYLOR: "Hey Ike, you can stop now."
ISAAC: Yeah.
VIKKI: We've had Elton John and other artists on that say they hate the process of making videos. Do you guys like making videos?
ZAC: Actually, I feel the exact opposite.
TAYLOR: I think actually making videos is a lot of fun, for us it's fun because of the behind the scenes side of it, because coming up with the concept of the video, talking to the director, you know, meeting - going through extras, you know, all those ideas and all the concepts of the video and then the, everything about I think is actually really fun for us and we've just always talked about you know, maybe even directing videos.
ISAAC: Yeah, that would be cool, directing would be fun.
STEVE: And guys, speaking of directing, say, “Hi” to Atlanta, you're on Fox 5 right now. This is Brett.
ALL: Hellooo!
STEVE: Fox 5, there they are.
ISAAC: Live on the radio, and on TV.
TAYLOR: All simultaneously.
STEVE: And on the web around the world.
TAYLOR: You guys are taking over the world!
ZAC: Whooaa, man!
ISAAC: Before too long it'll just -- we won't call it earth, we'll just call it Star 94.
TAYLOR: Star 94 - they rule the world, they control every airwave. It’s a total conglomerate.
ISAAC: today’s best...
ISAAC & TAYLOR: Everything!
TAYLOR: All around the world...
STEVE: Hanson with us on Star 94!
COMMERCIAL
STEVE: We have Hanson with us here for the next few minutes, then we're gonna turn 'em lose on our Star 94 winners that are waiting patiently in the conference room. I think all the, uh, food is gone though guys. I hope you guys...
TAYLOR: Oh, they devoured it?
VIKKI: I don't think so. They saved you some.
ISAAC: We got bagels earlier, so.
ZAC: What do you mean?!? Food! They’re starving us. This is like that movie, survivor, I mean the show or whatever.
VIKKI: There's Valium back there for you, Zac.
ZAC: You know, I forget. I’m passing out. We haven't had food in weeks.
TAYLOR: So, there you go.
STEVE: So does your mom, does she cook like a great meal for ya'll. Is there like when you guys do get home --
VIKKI: They're never home!
STEVE: Yeah.
ISAAC: I will say... we love our mom to death, but she, she's never really been much of a cook.
ZAC: She's not really a cook. It’s kinda like, uh, we're fast food kinda sorts.
STEVE: You guys are?
ZAC: Definitely.
VIKKI: Where's the best fast food?
TAYLOR: Yes, exactly. Um...
ZAC: Well, only the best?
VIKKI: Like your dream fast food meal.
ISAAC: We can't say.
TAYLOR: There's, well no. There is a couple places...
ISAAC: But it's not Rex's Boneless Chicken!
TAYLOR: Definitely not!
ISAAC: Cos there's this giant rumor that that's our favorite.
VIKKI: What would it be like - burgers, fries, and a milkshake?
ZAC: No, it's, there's...
TAYLOR: It's probably... that stuff, yeah!
ZAC: ...some places in Tulsa are only, like local fast food restaurants that are great. A Mexican place and a burger joint
TAYLOR: Two places that we or like the places that we always go, you know, in Tulsa. That are kinda like, you know, only in that area.
ZAC: Like, we're in Tulsa, okay. We know exactly what we're gonna do.
TAYLOR: Yeah, so there's a couple places that you always go, you know, the hometown places, so.
VIKKI: So, if I told you about a Thai restaurants, you'd totally not be interested?
TAYLOR: Well, no. absolutely!
VIKKI: Oh, okay.
ISAAC: Actually we... Thai...
ZAC: Sorts of all food.
TAYLOR: I mean, that's the thing. you have to try so many different things you get to try Thai, you can just try everything.
VIKKI: So, in Japan, did you eat sushi?
TAYLOR: We've had some sushi yeah. A little bit yeah.
ISAAC: We've had a little bit of sushi, but not much. I’m not really a big sushi person.
TAYLOR: But yeah, you try a little bit of everything though.
ISAAC: Yeah.
VIKKI: Well, that's good. That you tried it and I was noticing their beautiful complexion, Steve. If you continue...
TAYLOR: Oooh.
VIKKI: ...to get your power peels you could have skin like the Hanson boys.
STEVE: Like a 17 year old, ok.
ZAC: Hey, hey, in other words, stop the power peels, ok, man?!? Stop while you can!
TAYLOR: There you go.
ZAC: It starts this whole thing. It’s a system. They give you the power peel and then you're...
STEVE: Zac, I’m gonna send you to your room if you don't shut up. I'm kidding
TAYLOR: Dude, that's what happens. You get him on the radio…
ZAC: … and then you're sniffin' the power peels and you're sayin' just "man, just another power peel, please!"
ISAAC: And then before you know it...
STEVE: I thought two years would mature 'em a little bit guys!
ISAAC: And then before you know it, you're sn- rollin' doobies in a VAN (zac joins) DOWN BY THE RIVER!
STEVE: Do you guys get separate hotel room? When you're-Taylor and Isaac?
ZAC: Now tell me...
STEVE: Tell me you don't, you're not all in the same room with Zac, are you?
TAYLOR: We're uhh... it doesn't really...
ISAAC: It just depends, it just depends yeah.
TAYLOR: It just depends, yeah.
ISAAC: It just depends, I mean, it just depends on how many beds are in a room you know, so.
VIKKI: Are you ever invited back?
ZAC: No.
ISAAC: Yes, we are often invited back.
STEVE: Oooh, you don't...
