Isaac updated the Hanson Hotline:

"Hey everybody, this is Isaac and you've reached the Hanson Hotline. Just keeping you up to date on what's going on with Hanson. Well, right now we are in the middle of mixing the yet to be titled live record. The live record was recorded in Melbourne, Australia to conclude the Underneath Tour and it's kind of appropriate that we were "down under" finishing the Underneath Tour. The tour was awesome; we had a great time touring all around the world. We hit so many places we hadn't been in many, many years and we're excited about sharing the live experience with everybody in record form. The show sounds great. We hope you guys will keep up to date with Hanson at Hanson.net. Hanson.net recently was redesigned. 2.2 is rockin' and ready to go. There's going to be a lot of cool stuff that is going to be changing about the site in the next few months and we're really excited about the redesign, it looks great. Also, on the 4th of July, when we're celebrating our independence, it seems appropriate that we can also thank our troops who are working so hard right now in this war time. So, if you guys feel like it, pass on a message to the troops at americasupportsyou.mil. It's a really great way to send a positive message to those people who are working so hard to keep us safe in the world. Thanks you guys very much for calling the Hanson Hotline and we'll talk to you later. Buh bye."

Well, nearly 100 acoustic shows and over 150 electric shows, The Underneath Tour has taken us all around the world to places that we had not been to before and many places we hadn't been since the year 2000. Now we are excited about the first live album to be released since 1998's Live From Albertane. This live album will include everything from "Penny & Me" to "MMMBop" and also some exclusive tracks you won't be able to get anywhere except for on this new live record. Thanks for calling the Hanson Hotline. We will be announcing the release of this album and also its title very soon. Thanks. Buh bye."

August 17

Hanson debuted their video for "Underneath" exclusively at hanson.net for fan club members. "The inspiration largely came from our Australian director Josh Lobe. He presented the concept of vines continuing to grow as the video and music progressed. The final version of the video evolved dramatically from where it started. For us, the idea is that music is something that can grow and change, and constantly growing. And also the idea of being "Underneath" and strangled by something is another concept that's present in the video." - source

"Hey everybody, this is Isaac and you've reached the Hanson Hotline. As an indie band, we feel it's very important to support other independent music, so we put together a Live & Electric Indie Sampler. It includes five artists and you get it with a purchase of any ticket to the Live & Electric Tour. Also, we did the Live & Electric opening band contest, where a winner is selected from three finalists in every city on the Live & Electric Tour through votes on Hanson.net. To all the finalists in those contests we wish you the very best in the future. And to all the voters, thanks for being a part and we hope you found a local band to support through the contest. Thanks for supporting independent music. Thanks for calling. Buh bye."
