Isaac updated the Hanson Hotline:

"Hey everybody this is Isaac and you've reached the Hanson Hotline. Just wanted to let everybody know that Hanson.net 2.0 is now up. The transition between Hansonline.com and Hanson.net, combining the two sites, has been very, very good. For all of you members, you'll notice a few new sections. For all of you non-members you'll notice some rearranging of the toolbar itself. Everything is pretty much just one click away. So, that was at the request of you guys and it is a lot faster and easier to get around that way. So we hope you guys are enjoying the new site. Also that site design is based on the new album artwork, so you guys are kind of getting a sneak peek into what's to come. Also there will be a lot more sneak peeks and a lot more info coming to you soon. We've got some things that we are working on... waiting on final information before we let you all know because we don't want to give you guys, you know partial information. And for all you MOE members that information that we're waiting on for the website is also stuff that we're waiting on for you because we don't want to send out a magazine without all the info in it. So we will keep you posted on what's going on with that. Also I was just writing an article for MOE right now, so anyway things are coming along really, really well and we look forward to giving you more info. Thanks for calling the Hanson Hotline. We'll talk to you later."

Isaac updated the Hanson Hotline:

"Hey everybody, this is Isaac and you've reached the Hanson Hotline. Just wanted to let everybody know that Hanson.net has just recently be updated with some new photos from photos from the recent show that we did here in Tulsa at the end of February. We did a little exclusive concert for some people, including some Hanson.net fan club members. That was really fun to get the opportunity to share that with you guys and we really appreciate you being a part of the fan club. And also we look forward to future shows that will be coming later this year. We look forward to play for you. That will be really, really fun and we will let you know as soon as information on the tour is available. Also, there are some other pictures from later on in 2002, little photo shoot that we did near the end of the recording of the album. Also we just finished mixing the new Hanson.net enhanced CD. That CD includes unreleased material, material that was recorded during the process of this album and music that will not be on the upcoming CD. So in a way it's kind of a Hanson fan club record. It will be really, really cool; we hope you guys enjoy that. It also includes enhanced content, which has behind the scenes footage, and all kinds of other great stuff. So, appreciate you guys calling in and we will talk to you later. Don't forget to check Hanson.net. Thanks. See ya."

March 22

Isaac updated the Hanson Hotline:

"Hey everybody, this is Isaac and you've reached the Hanson Hotline. Well, for those of you a part of the email list, and for those of you who are not, we just recently sent out the Hanson newsletter. That newsletter contained general Hanson info, some fan club info. But the main reason why we sent out that email was to gather information regarding what your city and state location is. The reason is we are talking about concert dates of course, coming up later this year. And we're hoping to route them through a city near you. So, we want to make sure that we get that information so that we can properly accommodate as many of you as possible. So for all of you who are part of the email list, please don't forget to give us that information. And for those of you who are not, you can go onto Hanson.net and go into the news section and you'll find information on how to do that, how to join the newsletter. So, also for you fan club members, we just recently mixed the five tracks, which are going on the fan club CD. That will be coming to you soon. That fan club CD is exclusive of course to the fan club and the tracks will be found nowhere else. Those are new tracks that were recorded during the making of this up and coming record, Underneath. So thanks for joining the fan club, for all of you who have. And thanks for calling the Hanson Hotline. And don't forget to check Hanson.net for more info. Thanks. Buh bye."

"Hey everybody, this is Isaac and you've reached the Hanson Hotline. Well I thought I'd take an opportunity to do something I haven't done before on this lovely memorial day weekend 2003, and that is inform you guys of some artists that you may not have heard of before. There's a band, which I've been talking about for a long time called Maroon 5. Their record is called Songs About Jane. This band is a great funk-based rock band with excellent song writing sense and melody sense. Really great vocals and hooks for days. So I think you should check this record out. It is so worth your money. You will listen from top to bottom over and over and over again. Also, on the same note, a record that you will listen to over and over and over, have a new favorite every time you listen through, a guy named Bleu, spelled B-L-E-U. His record's called Redhead. This record has electronica influences and singer/songwriter sensibilities and, occasionally, a moment of Neil Diamond. It is a great, eclectic record and excellent songwriting. I think you guys should check these out. If you'd like more information on these artists, you'll be able to get onto Hanson.net if you're a fan club member and check out the review section. Have more reviews coming. So enjoy guys and thanks for calling the Hanson Hotline. Buh bye."

Isaac updated the Hanson Hotline:

"Hey everybody, this is Isaac and you've reached the Hanson Hotline. Well, I thought I'd do something that I did last and I will continue to do, inform you guys of new music that I think really should check out. One of the bands that I really think you would enjoy is Maroon 5. Their record is Songs About Jane. They're a funk-based rock band with really great songs and excellent musical hooks. I mean, it's... they're a great, great band and very worth your time. You may have heard their song on the radio, it's called 'Harder To Breathe.' It is moving up the charts as we speak and they are a really great band. You will enjoy their record thoroughly. Again, the record's called Songs About Jane. Also, there's a really cool young artist named Ben Kweller. He had a record called Sha Sha. that record's really, really cool and very... just, it's kinda grungy and rocky and great.. It's just great fun. And also Bleu, spelled B-L-E-U. His record's called Redhead. you guys should check out all those guys' records because you will enjoy them thoroughly, they are great records. Thanks for calling the Hanson Hotline. We got a lot of new stuff coming this summer; we'll be letting you know about it really, really soon. So keep your eyes and ears open. Thanks for calling. November 18

Isaac was admitted to the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York for a blood clot in his right arm.

NEW YORK (AP) - Isaac Hanson, oldest member of pop group Hanson, has been hospitalized for a blood clot in his right arm, his publicist said Thursday. The 23-year-old musician had a venous clot, or thromboembolism, said publicist Jill Fritzo. The condition apparently came from playing the guitar too much, she said. "He'll be in the hospital for a few days," she told The Associated Press. "He's uncomfortable, obviously, but he'll be fine." The Hanson trio, which includes brothers Taylor and Zac, had its biggest hit in 1997 when "MMMBop" helped ignite the boy band craze. They recently played Carnegie Hall as the final stop on their acoustic tour. They have started their own record label, 3CG records, and plan to release a new album in March.

December 01
